Lobby Displays | August Green Scene | Signarma

Sell Your Business with Bold Lobby Displays

Advances in signage technology including digital and LEDs have ushered in a new urgency for businesses (big and small) to utilize their lobby spaces as a means of “showing off” the company brand and culture. In fact, it is a golden opportunity to show off the best side of your business through a clean and tidy space and eye-catching, effective signage.

Think about it. When a new customer walks in off the street, the first exposure they have with your business is in the lobby. How you engage that customer through your lobby displays is crucial to selling your brand and company. No longer is it acceptable to stock your lobby with out-dated art remnants that say nothing about your business’s products, services and story.

Use your space to make an impact. Think of the blank walls of your lobby as branding opportunities. By doing so, your brand can become an interesting element in your space. SIGNARAMA Downtown offers a variety of signage solutions that will fill those spaces with your business’s personality and brand. Signage can even act as its own work of art! Use unique materials to display your logo to reinforce your brand such as metal, glass, acrylic, wood, fabric, vinyl, digital printing, screen printing, laser cutting and more! We offer digital display technologies such as LED screens that will enhance your image and present it in a dynamic fashion. Our mobile display stands offer flexibility of communication as you can change them monthly, weekly or even daily to display the most important information to your customers.

August Green Scene Welcomes Nearly 70 Guests to SIGNARAMA Downtown

SIGNARAMA Downtown played host to the U.S. Green Building Council’s Louisville chapter’s August Green Scene on Wednesday, August 25. We welcomed nearly 70 attendees from various industries. Attendees enjoyed food and drink courtesy of Ramsi’s Café on the World while networking and sharing ideas about local sustainability!

During the Green Scene, we featured several eco-friendly signage products. Fuji Film showcased their exceptional sustainable printing products, which were demonstrated using our very own Fuji Acuity printer. LG Hi-Macs presented their “green” solid core panel products used to build customer interior signage, displays and countertops. Both were a big hit and gave attendees new ideas of how to carry green build aspects into their signage.

June 2010 Newsletter | Turn Your Vehicle into a Traveling Advertisement

Turn Your Vehicle into a Traveling Advertisement!

You’ve passed them along roadways, glanced over at them as you idled at stop lights and noticed them parked in front of businesses around town. Did they give you cause for a double take?

Vehicle graphics or wraps are quickly becoming the newest trend in advertising signage because of their cost-effective approach to promoting your business’ message (measuring by cost per view). Your vehicle can become a mobile billboard for your business, boosting your visibility as you drive from location to location in and around your community. Simple to do, vehicle wraps just might be your best solution for getting the greatest bang for your buck when it comes to advertising.

SIGNARAMA Downtown can implement anything you can imagine – from the basic logo and lettering on your vehicle door to a complete wrap of the vehicle. If it rolls, flies or floats, SIGNARAMA Downtown can wrap it! Not sure what type of wrap would work best for you? Let SIGNARAMA Downtown help you figure it out. But, first, check out these frequently asked questions.

Q: What is a vehicle wrap?
A: A vehicle wrap is not a custom paint job, but is sure looks like it! Using a precise application process, a hi-tech vinyl covering is adhered directly to your vehicle.

Q: My vehicle is black. Can I still get it wrapped?
A: Yes, a vehicle wrap can be applied to vehicles of any color.

Q: Will the wrap damage my paint?
A: No, a vehicle wrap, when applied and removed correctly, does not damage your vehicle's paint, unless the paint already is damaged or the car has been repainted.

Q: Can I take it through the carwash?
A: Yes, you can wash it just like you did before it was wrapped. It is not recommended that you use wax.

Q: How effective is a vehicle wrap?
A: Studies have concluded that a vehicle wrap can garner up to 8.3 million views per year in a city of 50,000. That is a lot of impressions!

Q: If I dent a side of my vehicle can my vehicle wrap be fixed?
A: Yes, we can easily replace the damaged pieces or panels of your wrap.

Good Signage is a Sign of Good Business

What’s in a sign? Frankly, the answer is quite a lot! Good signage enhances brand awareness, attracts customers and increases your business’s revenue. So what makes a good sign? Check out these tips to creating signage that is good for your business.

Location is Key
The placement of your signage is dependent upon the location of your business. In scouting locations for a new business, be sure to do a preliminary check of the location to determine if you have time to see your sign, read it, react to it and stop safely when driving. For pre-existing locations, it wouldn’t hurt to do a test drive to determine if there is a better, more visible spot to relocate your sign.

Make Sure it is BIG Enough to Read
When determining the size of your sign’s lettering to guarantee its readability from driving distances, we recommend that letters be a minimum of one inch tall for every 25 feet of distance. Don’t forget to figure in white space when determining signage size.

Shine the Light on It
Lighting is essential for most signage, and illuminated signs create 24-hours-a-day advertisement for your business. Proper lighting allows your sign to be visible and readable day and night, in all kinds of weather. Additionally, lighting increases the sign’s visibility for drivers who will be able to read it more quickly. Your sign should be bright enough to compete with other signs in the area without being annoying. Because many cities are beginning to impose limits on brightness in residential areas, it is important to determine those limits before designing your sign.

Change it Up
Signs can get stagnate causing people to stop paying attention to them and, thus, your business. Be sure to incorporate changeable elements to your signage plan including digital signage, which can be changed daily, and vinyl clings, which add interest to your storefront.

Remember that your sign is a form of communication and is often your first point of contact with potential customers. Make sure you are sending the right message!
